LYRICS FOR SUNRAAFT

SUN RAAFT
in-side-we are doing “fine”
bringing in the lawn to sit on the sun
of your house
it started in a snowstorm
when i was building boxes to put out
side of the building
when we were collaborating
when i could say anything
like: where are you now?
staring at the sun man
it makes me feel all-right
i am part the human being and part the wire
AND I SING to all that grows (in the ground)
i learned about heading out
like they do
in their trains jump
to little moons and bigger moons
i am fine
in my raw tangle
to burst the basement
with sound
hard sound
soft sound
sound yet to be made
sound you do by turning around
i have not held mine
for tucking in shirts
or holding down
stable footing*?
when the sun hits high on a raft
and falls out of the sky
where are you now?
staring at the sun man
it makes me feel all-right
i am part the human being and part the wire
AND I SING to all that grows (in the ground)
my toothy laugh at cars
sends a fractured screech
to the sidewalk
its beyond hilarious
easy combo
perfect gift
and hoenne
help me make my songs right
watch me emerge form yr
downspirited strangle
in a war against dust
