Mysterious Additions in Lincoln, NE

I had an idea recently, and would love it if you'd consider participating.  A few weeks ago a person in my neighborhood ordered a bunch of bricks that had been piled in an empty lot for about a year. They turned a rubble pile into a sculpture that was altar-like, and very beautiful, and created a space for people to come & chill around it, marveling at it, wondering at it, etc. My idea sprung from seeing that transformation. I would like to see artists choose spaces in downtown Lincoln (empty lots, alleyways, doorways, dumpsters, rooftops, corners, storm drains etc etc) to engage with, and for that engagement to appear on a MAP that will be distributed on street corners leading up to First Friday Art Waddle in the downtown, August 5.

PLAN:
Artists will choose spaces in downtown Lincoln.
Artists will engage with these spaces & tell me about it (where it is, what it is),
I print a map,
I (and others) distribute the maps,
People follow the directions on the map.

SO- Please let me know if you are interested in participating! If you would like to work on a space & have that included in the map, I need to know  the location of the work by July 28. THANKS!!!  If you would like to assist in handing out maps the night of the art walk, please contact me.

P.S. The title of this project, 'Mysterious Additions,' comes from Grace Jensen's photo, which is featured here.
