old songs

No, its a metal factory & it smells like Puttin' on the Ritz.
I've felt better at not having a list. And then made you uncomfortable.
But to hell with it.

Thrown back and an equal strand she laughs
to the air as if a right angle
could counter
as a madcap intern doing
aerial things
we wonder-
                    who doesn't
                                       -is the light still on?

I had better remember the artificial
Antigone in this bedroom
or are all of the kids outside
doing flips off the airplane hanger
with a curtain rod

My anger                 my question is all of the
same & when the sand is hot you
can't be touching it
My parents and neighbors had a
bonfire tonight    I held the hand of a light
brown dog

All of the nights we talk and do nothing
though writing the sheeps around the pasture
Has a fragrance        sounds a noise
To the quiet and even deliberate
people inside of their
aquatic mansion towers
in the sky
