the grass is showing between slats like spaces between teeth
mark their place by not being part of some other parts of the mouth
or the whole face either, and, also, were
open fields of grass mowed over the way acid chips at the microphone
wound in my face - would, my, were they, mine, teeth
be ground up and mixed with a gallon of water
and sprayed over the grasses - some native and some, from, well,
europe
we made it over. they say. bowing heads with relief.
an entire ocean! it takes time, but we spread out.
my tooth spray will help them.
blooming tender salvia stalks swoon beside.
they stand up taller, surrounding the pool
instantly tethered to the bank forever with ants making their way
to the underside of the water

my mom is waving fleece turtles at me
they are full of flax and lavender
