Here, the first night in the new apartment, and I am finally getting to some of these images from the NYC trip I took in late June. I stayed with Emily and moved a lot of words around. It was quiet on a rooftop party one night, staring out at the Brooklyn skyline and wondering what the fuss was. What was the fuss? The Fuss is a cute name for a band. That view reminded me of Brighton in a way, and that was comforting because it was a familiar thought. Nikita Vishnevskiy stood with me on the roof and we talked about invasions. He was talking about them, really. I was thinking about inflatable buildings, which I almost remember as "Inflatable Biology". More photos:
I am beaming because after this week I will be going to Kansas City to be in Emily and John and Shan's movie. They were working on it in NYC and now moving the location to KC. MLE and I made costumes for it, but they were rejected. Here is another rejected thing from the movie: (...I tried to insert a video from the movie, but it didn't work because "the tag is not closed". Will fix soon.)
Even the rejected shit is amazing. Here are some of our costumes:

Now I want to upload videos to vimeo all night long but I have class right away in the morning. Why don't people use wallpaper anymore?
Last thing:
I rode the ferry with Mathias and Emily back and forth between NYC and Staten Island four times, drinking tallboys and sort of staring around and laughing some. I think the three of us would make a neat tent, just drape tarps over and we'd tickle you and let spit drip out all night. The ferry had a little girl playing with water droplets on the last ride back when it was raining. I think she was what people mean when they say "I saw a Unicorn" or "Love makes the world go round", etc.
