Nico got an Orchid sent to him from Texas from his Girlfriend Maria who's family is from Venezuela. It is the Venezuelan National Flower! Someday they will be musician-lovers performing for people on modern journey quest. We have 2 mandolins and 1 baritone Ukulele. I am uploading 300 new photos. We finished mixing the album yesterday in a perfectly symmetrical room. I almost stole, but didn't. Tom moved out of his APT and Hud is moving in there. Hudson is taking photos with a lens that does not fit the body of his camera. Someone donate a lens to him! He is also wrapping bar tape around some handlebars for his BICI. I want to get done with this semester.
I am supposed to register for classes today. Next semester I want to take Biopsychology, Ecocriticism, Math 101, and Zoology or Biology 102, and Writing Center Theory & Practice, and Sculpture, and Photography, and some History.I also want to show you some of these photos. I got one of Chelsea's face all stained with blueberries from when we were smearing around and making cookies. Then we went to Open Harvest and bought some baking soda from them. BJ was there! Because I don't have a Credit Card, it is hard to Pre-Order things, or order things late, or at all! I have an idea of ordering some things online, including a new book by Mathias and some tights from Tabio, and some records from Chris Fischer, and a plane ticket to England, and some salt, and a new subscription to Cabinet and a Lens for Hudson!!!! We all want to go to Iceland and Norway. Ian is making a lot of beer; this is good because we need to have a decent supply of it, as well as bread, onions, potatoes and garlic, but I get a lot of that other stuff from the OH. It is pretty windy today. Dave and I live in the top of the house with a sunwindow in the roof, and it sometimes sounds as if the roof will blow off, but I think it will not. I have to write with the band, a biography of us, a "what we sound like" kind of thing to include in our Demo CDs. If anyone would like to write a paragraph about that, I would be very very grateful, and send you something rad-wonderful. We had a snowstorm, but now its back to spring. Tom drove off of the interstate yesterday, but drove back on. I fell backwards in the Blue Line, but got right up. The more light that comes into this room, the more beautiful it looks.
I haven't swept in a week. We are listening to Jens Leckman. I love how the Swedish singers I have heard pronounce English. I tried on a dress in Scout yesterday and Fever Ray was playing. I have been hungry for meat. I continue to eat Tempeh. Please fold the blankets if you stay over on the couch. We have such a nice couch, thanks to Ian's mom, who upholstered it herself. I want to go on a trip to Germany or England or Japan or New Zeland or Mexico or anywhere, pretty much. Annie just got back from India, but we haven't talked. Shelley is in China, and I saw her on video-chat.
I miss Charlotte and Richie pretty much every day. We need to get some plants on the porch, I guess that is my job, according to the chore-chart. None of the fish survived the winter, and this spring Ian and I drew them out of the pond water with nets and bushy sticks. I completely forgot that Dave made me coffee! Thanks Dave!
I love facepaint so much. We usually just do acrylic, because when you are ready to take it off, it just peels or rolls up beneath your rubbing fingers. I saw Nolan on Friday, he is fine. Dave and Elisabeth and Nate and Diane and Joe Younglove and Jake Gillespie all had shorts shown at the State (Now Bourbon) Theatuure. In Jake G's vid, pretty much everyone that was in it is gone from this town. Makes me feel like a loser-fool! But I think we are happy here in this house, and getting a lot done. Last week we had our first Couch Surfers, who turned out to be coffee fanatics and beer lovers, and Ian is going to Colorado with them when the come back through. Hudson and Dave say they are nerdy about their bikes. Hudson says "we have to do some cute guy things!!!" And Dave comes over to kiss me and wave his arms around.
